Li Qiuping, styled Qiushen, also known as Kunyu Yankè, male, Han ethnicity, ancestral home in Shandong Linyi, currently residing in Shandong Yantai, born in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, specializes in traditional Chinese landscape painting and Chinese color-ink landscape painting, currently a member of the Yantai Municipal Artists Association of Shandong Province, director of the Yantai Folk Artists Association, dean of the Yantai Branch of China Central Television Painting and Calligraphy Academy, intermediate member of Zeng School Color-Ink Landscape Painting Academy, member of the Chinese Color-Ink Landscape Art Salon, member of the Painting and Calligraphy Art Committee of China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Alliance, researcher at the Painting and Calligraphy Academy of China Economic News, National First-Class Artist. Passionate about painting since childhood, he studied painting knowledge under folk artists in his early years and self-studied theories and techniques of traditional Chinese landscape painting. He copied the landscape volume of "Jieziyuan Painting Manual," possessing a solid foundation in traditional Chinese landscape brushwork and ink techniques. Later, he studied color-ink landscape painting under the renowned color-ink landscape painter Mr. Zeng Gang.
