Personal Profile
        Liu Jun, member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association and member of the Tai’an Min’ge Zhongshan Calligraphy and Painting Academy. He began studying calligraphy in middle school, starting with Yan Zhenqing’s “Duobao Pagoda Stele.” He later practiced Han dynasty clerical scripts such as the “Zhang Qian Stele” and “Shimen Eulogy”; for running and cursive scripts, he admired Wang Xizhi’s “Preface to the Sacred Teachings” and “Seventeen Posts,” while also absorbing influences from the Four Masters of the Song Dynasty and Zhao Mengfu. He upholds the integration of stele and model calligraphy, pursuing a grand and balanced aesthetic that blends strength with grace, and aspires to imbue his artworks with scholarly elegance. His works have won the Silver Award at the 2000 World Chinese Art Exhibition; the Gold Award for the 85th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China; First Prize at the National “Golden Monkey Spring” Calligraphy Exhibition; and First Prize at the “Yichun Cup” National Calligraphy Exhibition.
