Liu Dawei, born in 1966, styled Jingchan Jushi, is a native of Tai’an, Shandong. Graduated from Shandong Normal University, he is a senior secondary school teacher. He is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, Vice President of the Longtu Calligraphy and Painting Academy in Hong Kong, Vice President of the China Haoye Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Secretary-General of the Hedong District Artists Association in Linyi, Vice Chairman of the China Artists Online Cooperation Alliance, Professor at the Tianjin Calligraphy and Painting Training Base, and President of the Hedong District Community Calligraphy and Painting Academy. Having studied calligraphy for over thirty years, he specializes in Yan-style script while also practicing the styles of the Two Wangs, and has conducted research and created works in Han dynasty silk-bamboo script. He is currently engaged in calligraphy teaching and research. His works have been exhibited and awarded multiple times at national and provincial levels, and are widely collected by numerous enthusiasts.
