    Guo Qing, styled Zizhan, pseudonym Mengshan Jushi, native of Ju State, Shandong; in his youth received personal instruction from Mr. Song Shiyun, studying calligraphy and painting, later furthered his studies at the China National Academy of Arts under the guidance of Mr. Shen Peng and Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi, thereby gaining profound insight into the art of calligraphy; for decades steadfastly maintained purity and self-discipline, diligently striving forward, rising early and working late without rest, drawing inspiration externally from nature and expressing innermost emotions internally. His calligraphy evolved from technique to Dao, characterized by clarity, elegance, and transcendence, attaining a lofty and refined realm imbued with the spirit of a scholar-gentleman. Currently serves as: Member of the China Calligraphers Association, Professor at the Tianjin Calligraphy and Painting Training Center, Vice President of the China Haoye Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and Vice Chairman of the China Artists Online Cooperation Alliance.
