Ren Jinzhi, also named Dao Feng, styled Jinzhi, pen name Shu Yan, male, born in 1961 in Niulang Zhinü’s Hometown, Yiyuan County, Shandong Province, holds a university education. Currently a member of Zibo Municipal Artists Association and county-level Artists Association; member of Chinese Poetry Society, Shandong Provincial Youth Writers Association and Poetry Society, Zibo Municipal Writers Association and Poetry Society; Vice Chairman of Yiyuan County Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Writers Association, and Vice President of the Poetry Society.
Engages in painting and writing as an amateur. His paintings have been exhibited and awarded multiple times; over one hundred traditional Chinese ink paintings have been collected by art institutions or friends. More than three hundred essays, poems, novels, and stories have been published in dozens of newspapers and periodicals including “Chinese Poetry,” “Poetry Journal,” “New Liaozhai,” and “Zibo Evening News,” with some works receiving awards. Over one hundred works have been included in more than ten anthologies such as “Collected Works of Members of the Chinese Poetry Society,” “Chinese Poetry Collection,” “Selected Contemporary Poetry of Zibo,” “Selected Literary Works of Zibo · Prose Volume,” “Chronicles of the Era,” “Yiyuan Folk Literature,” and “Yiyuan Poetry.”
