Zhu Xunqi, styled Dake, known as the Master of Qibao Pavilion, is the Director of China’s “Fan Zhongyan Hometown Art Museum.” He serves as Vice Chairman of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Society, Vice President of the Chinese Five-Script Calligraphy Research Association, Member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, Member of the Central Government Agencies Calligraphers Association, Member of the Chinese Couplet Society, Member of the Chinese Large-Character Calligraphy Association, Member of the Hong Kong Chinese Calligraphers Association; Honorary President of the Chinese Lanting Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Art Consultant of the Chinese Hongshan Painting Academy, Director of the National Celebrities Calligraphy and Painting Art Association, and Vice President of the Qufu Hongru Calligraphy and Painting Academy in Shandong.
He has been awarded the “Golden Monkey Award – Lifetime Achievement Award” at the China International Art Festival and has won first place twice in national calligraphy and painting competitions. In May 2019, his calligraphy works were featured as national cultural symbols, displayed in rotation on the NASDAQ World Screen in Times Square, New York City. In July 2019, his work “Essence, Vitality, Spirit” was auctioned for RMB 38,000 at the China-Europe International Auction in Hungary. In December 2019, his calligraphy piece “Hongfu (Great Fortune)” was auctioned for RMB 41,400 at the Beijing Huizhen International Auction. He has participated five times in national calligraphy and painting exhibitions held at Beijing’s Nationalities Cultural Palace, Beijing Capital Library, and Guoyi Museum, and has frequently participated in provincial-level exhibitions, winning numerous awards. In May 2019, he held a solo calligraphy exhibition at Mount Tai Tianyi Lake in Shandong. In August 2019, he participated in the 7th China National Cultural Industry Expo at the Jinan Shungeng International Exhibition Center. Many of his calligraphy works have been collected by institutions including the Great Hall of the People and Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing, as well as governmental bodies and private collectors from dozens of countries including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, and France. Numerous pieces have also been featured on the cover pages of major national publications.
