Personal Profile

Lu Zhidan, born in 1979, is a native of Ruyang County, Henan Province, with the courtesy name Zhidan. His studio is named Jiuya Zhai.He graduated from the Painting Department of Luoyang No. 1 Vocational College, specializing in meticulous-style lotus paintings. He studied under masters such as Zhao Qingmei, Chen Jianyou, Wu Yuanzheng, Gao Hongqi, and Suo Tiesheng, integrating the strengths of various schools. His works are pure, serene, and elegant, forming his own distinctive style. His meticulous lotus paintings have been exhibited in numerous cities nationwide and have won multiple awards. They are collected by many enterprises and art enthusiasts and have been published on multiple occasions. He participated in Henan TV’s program “Huaxia Ode,” and his works were collected; he exhibited at the 90th Anniversary Celebration of the People’s Liberation Army, and his works were collected and published; he participated in the creation, exhibition, collection, and publication of the “Hundred-Meter Scroll of Filial Piety Culture” in Luoyang City, Henan Province. In 2019, his works were published in the calendar of the Great Wall Calligraphy and Painting Academy and exhibited and collected; in 2019, at the national exhibition “Calligraphy and Painting Masters Greet Spring,” his exhibited works won the gold award, received high praise from Governor Wang Mingyi, and he took commemorative photos with him. He participated in the public welfare event “Thousand Calligraphers and Painters Presenting Artworks to Guests” for the 37th Luoyang Peony Festival and has repeatedly taken part in public welfare campaigns promoting filial piety culture.Currently, he serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the Luoyang Branch of Henan Great Wall Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and Secretary-General and Director of the Office of Henan Tuoling Culture Co., Ltd.He is also a member of the Luoyang Volunteer Calligraphy and Painting Academy.?
