Personal Profile

Zhao Gang, courtesy name Shimo, is from Shandong. He currently serves as Vice President of the Jinan Celebrities Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Vice President of the Tianying Calligraphy and Painting Academy, member of the Calligraphy Professional Committee, member of the Shandong Xizhi Calligraphy and Painting Academy; member of the Provincial Calligraphers Association; Visiting Professor of Calligraphy Art at Jinan University; and Researcher at the China Institute of Sinology. Among his works, "Quiet Mind" won the Gold Award at the China Calligraphy Exhibition, "Tea and Zen as One" won the First Prize at the National Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition, and "Integrating the Four Seas" won the "First International Filial Piety Culture Silver Award." In 2004, he was honored as a "Young Sinology Artist."
