Name: Li Zhenjun, also known as Li Zhenjun, styled Huaiyuan, pseudonym Songxue, owner of Xianyun Studio. Born in 1962, native of Weihai, Shandong Province. Member of the China Association for Research on Calligraphy and Painting of the Elderly. Vice President of Weihai Association for Research on Calligraphy and Painting of the Elderly, member of Weihai Calligraphers Association, member of Weihai Wendeng Artists Association, calligraphy teacher appointed by Weihai City Senior University, member of China Calligraphy and Painting Association. Member of the Art Research Society of the China Architecture Research Association, academician of Beijing Huaxia Lanting Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, etc. His landscape painting works have participated in national, provincial, and municipal exhibitions many times and won awards, receiving extensive attention and high praise. Influenced by family from an early age, he has loved painting since childhood, systematically studied and mastered relevant knowledge in sketching, quick drawing, watercolor, gouache, oil painting, and other areas, building a solid foundation in fine arts and calligraphy. Having long been rooted at the grassroots level, he is skilled at capturing details of things, constantly writing and painting in his spare time without interruption. Out of special affection for traditional Chinese painting, he began systematic study of traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy. Limited by conditions, he has always been self-taught, diligently studying and continuously practicing brushwork. He shows interest and has explored various subjects including flowers-and-birds, figures, and landscapes, later focusing particularly on landscape painting. His artistic style is grand and powerful, profound yet transparent, elegant and fresh, guiding his study of calligraphy and painting onto the right path. In recent years, he has made many friends in the field of calligraphy and painting, exchanging ideas with them. Diligently and seriously imitating famous works and studying theories of calligraphy and painting from ancient and modern times, he frequently immerses himself in nature, doing sketches and creating artworks, learning from ancient masters while gaining inspiration from nature. He also studies classical and contemporary poetry and literature to absorb cultural nourishment and enhance his artistic cultivation in calligraphy, painting, and literary expression.
