Personal Profile

Wang Songchang, born in Qingdao in 1950, has loved calligraphy and painting since childhood.During the Cultural Revolution, he met the renowned Qingdao painter Mr. Zhao Yi, which led him onto the path of painting; at that time, he was relatively young and eager to learn. Later, he studied landscape painting under the famous painter Mr. Wang Xianpo, and received guidance from renowned masters such as Zhang Peng, Ma Longqing, Feng Ping, Liu Shijun, and Liu Huanshi. Adopting a painting technique rooted in calligraphy, after more than 40 years of diligent study, he gradually developed his own unique style and characteristics.
