Personal Profile

Guang Zhi,Sichuan native from Chengdu. Art Consultant at the Shandong Provincial Mass Art Museum, and specially appointed instructor at the Bashu Calligraphy and Painting Interest Class of Sichuan Museum. Has long engaged in copying and studying the works of “Two Wangs” and Yan Zhenqing’s regular script, tracing back to Han dynasty clerical script and Qin bamboo slips while consistently integrating personal artistic understanding into creative practice. His calligraphy work “Chu Shi Biao,” created through copying and original composition, was officially collected by Wuhou Shrine Museum on the 2019 National Museum Day. His piece titled “Remain True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind” was selected for exhibition at the calligraphy exhibition commemorating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, hosted by the Shandong Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
