Wang Yingshun, born in February 1946, is a native of Longkou City, Shandong Province.
Mr. Wang Yingshun has loved calligraphy and painting since childhood, especially excelling in peony-themed works. His peonies are vivid and graceful, deeply appreciated by art collectors both domestically and internationally. In 2006, he won the Silver Award in the “Mount Tai Cup” National Calligraphy and Painting Competition. In 2017, he received an Excellence Award in the 11th China National Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Competition. He currently serves as Director of the China New Youth Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Executive Director of the Shandong Celebrities Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Vice President of the China Loving Heart Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, Vice President of the Jinan Dongcheng Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and Member of the Shanghai Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Association.
