Ceng Xianqin, styled Zeng Qin and Zixuan, was born into a family of traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy mounting. Influenced by the family atmosphere since childhood, she developed a deep affection for ancient seals, calligraphy, and paintings. In 1983, she began studying under Teacher Xu Jiuqun. During this period, she also learned traditional Chinese painting, calligraphy, and seal carving from Teachers Xu Shulin, Wang Manzhi, and Du Yunzhen. In 1987, she graduated from Wu Yuru and Chen Yunjun's class at Tianjin Maolin Calligraphy and Painting Academy. Currently, she is studying flower-and-bird painting at Liu Cunhui Modern Ink Art Institute in Beijing. Her works have been exhibited in various provincial and municipal art exhibitions and have won numerous awards.
She is a member of the China Painters Association, a director of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, a member of the Liaocheng Calligraphers Association, a member of the Liaocheng Artists Association, the vice chairman of the Liaocheng Calligraphy and Painting Research Society, the vice president of the Liaocheng Municipal Calligraphers and Painters Association, and a member of the Liaocheng Women Calligraphers and Painters Association.
