Personal Profile
Wang Jianfu, styled Buyi, male, born on June 1, 1952, Han ethnicity, native of Jinan City, Shandong Province.Since childhood, I have enjoyed doodling and had a keen interest in colors. After starting work in 1970, I engaged in propaganda and education within my organization. Shortly thereafter, I received instruction from Mr. Dou Jiting of the Jinan No. 2 Light Industry Bureau Arts and Crafts Technical School (now Shandong Academy of Arts and Crafts), beginning my study of sketching. After the end of the Cultural Revolution, I entered Shandong College of Arts, where I established foundational skills in painting, sketching, aesthetics, and modeling, laying a solid groundwork for my future artistic creations.
Representative works: “Studying Intently,” “Deploying the Formation,” “The Majestic Spirit of Langya Pass Endures Through the Ages,” “Righteousness Through a Thousand Autumns,” “The Sage Teaching the People,” etc. These works have participated in national, provincial, and municipal exhibitions, winning various awards. My brushwork, ink usage, and techniques exhibit distinctive characteristics, striving for flexibility and harmony in spirit, energy, rhythm, and meaning, aiming to reach a realm of effortless mastery through continuous spiritual insight into their essence.
