Personal Profile

Liu Yi, styled as "Mo Yi Tang Zhu".Currently a member of the Shandong Provincial Artists Association, member of the Shandong Calligraphers Association, member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, and a National First-Class Artist,studied at the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and the Advanced Research Class for Landscape Painting Creation at the China Academy of Painting. Passionate about painting since childhood, especially devoted to Chinese landscape painting, he received meticulous guidance from Mr. Tian Yingzhang and became his formal disciple; later, he was also mentored by Teacher Zhang Heyun. He is a talented calligrapher and painter who values traditional painting styles while continuously innovating. His brushwork is vigorous and steady, with expansive momentum and vivid, forceful expression. Many of his works have been collected by domestic celebrities, numerous institutions, and foreign friends.
