Ji Zhongkun, male, born in December 1966, Han nationality, native of Yuncheng County, Shandong Province, currently a member of the Taian Calligraphers Association of Shandong Province and an academician of the Taishan Calligraphy Academy in Taian City, Shandong Province. He has loved calligraphy since childhood and has been practicing for over 30 years, consistently studying classical models, especially favoring works such as the "Preface to the Orchid Pavilion" and "Preface to the Sacred Teachings." His foundational skills are solid, and his works are widely appreciated by the public, with many circulating among local communities and cities. He has been invited by various organizations to participate in national, provincial, and municipal competitions, winning numerous certificates. He has participated in calligraphy gatherings and exhibitions, receiving meticulous guidance and continuing his studies to this day. In recent years, he furthered his studies at the Taishan Calligraphy Academy and studied under renowned Taian calligraphy masters, delving into calligraphy theory and refining his artistic skills. His works have been exhibited in activities such as the "Three Mountains and Five Great Mountains Journey," as well as at the Northern Automobile Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, earning praise from people across various sectors. In April 2019, he participated in the "Ink Heritage: 93 Society Commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the May Fourth Movement and the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China National Calligraphy and Painting Masters Invitational Exhibition," and his work has been recorded on the Cultural Celebrities Network. In May, he participated in the 10th "Xizhi Cup" Contemporary Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting Masters Invitational Competition, and his work won the third prize. In July, he participated in the "Celebrating Glorious Achievements and Showcasing the Spirit of the Times: Celebrating July 1st and the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China Calligraphy and Painting Competition," and his work was published in a collection. In the same month, he participated in the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition, the 13th "Eight Masters of Wu Gate" Calligraphy and Painting Competition, and his work won a bronze award. In October, his work won a silver award at the 14th National "Eight Masters of Wu Gate" Calligraphy and Painting Competition, and he received an honorary certificate and medal. In November, he participated in the "Three Mountains and Five Great Mountains Celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the Nation" calligraphy and painting event, and his work won the gold award and received a certificate; the work has been retained for exhibition. In December, he participated in the 2019 "Splendid China" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition, winning the silver award in the calligraphy category, and was simultaneously awarded the honorary title of "Influential Figure in Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Art for the Year 2019." In the 2020 "United Against the Epidemic: Great Love of China" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition, Mr. Ji Zhongkun's entry, the calligraphy piece "Elegant and Pure," won the gold award and was issued a certificate; the work was published in the "Great Love of China" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition Award-Winning Works Collection.
