Li Yuzhen

       Li Yuzhen, from Jinan, Shandong, is currently Deputy Dean and Secretary-General of the Shandong Branch of the China National Academy of Painting, member of the Shandong Provincial Retired Cadres Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, Vice President of Qilu Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Director of the General's Calligraphy and Painting Academy, member of Jinan Collectors Association, member of Shandong Artists Association, member of Shandong Calligraphers and Painters Association, Vice President of Shenzhou Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and Vice President of Sunshine Calligraphy and Painting Academy. Passionate about painting since childhood, she has never ceased practicing brushwork. In the 1980s, she received guidance from the late senior artist Hei Bolong, which greatly benefited her. Currently, she studies under Dean Ji Yusheng of Qilu Calligraphy and Painting Academy. She has long persisted in copying masterpieces by Bada Shanren and Qi Baishi, respecting tradition without being bound by it, ultimately achieving her artistic aspirations. She consistently engages in sketching and creation, tirelessly pursuing excellence in the path of calligraphy and painting! She currently specializes in bird-and-flower painting, particularly peonies, integrating traditional Chinese ink techniques with vibrant colors, thus forming her unique artistic style. She has participated in numerous provincial and municipal exhibitions and won awards! Her works are highly praised and collected by many calligraphy and painting enthusiasts! For three consecutive years, her works have been collected by the Jinan Collectors Association.
