Personal Profile
Li Weikai: Born in 1954, member of the Shandong branch of the Chinese National Painting Art Research Institute. Vice President of the Qilu Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and Council Member of the General Calligraphy and Painting Academy. He has loved painting and calligraphy since childhood. He studied for two years at the Shandong College of Arts, where he systematically learned traditional Chinese painting techniques. In the 1980s, he joined the Qilu Painting and Calligraphy Academy and received personal guidance from former academicians Zhang Yanqing and Wang Qihua, from whom he greatly benefited. After decades of diligent practice and artistic cultivation, he has developed a unique personal style.
In recent years, he has also received instruction and mentorship from Mr. Ji Yusheng, President of the Qilu Painting and Calligraphy Academy. His works have been repeatedly exhibited in provincial and municipal art exhibitions, selected for publication in provincial and municipal art journals, and circulated to countries and regions such as the United States, Japan, and Hong Kong, where they are widely appreciated by international friends.
