 Jiao Pengjian, a native of Zibo, Shandong, graduated successively from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Shandong University of Art, and Shijiazhuang Teachers’ Advanced Training College.His works firmly master the traditional techniques of Chinese painting, drawing inspiration from famous mountains, rivers, and the spiritual essence of vegetation, gradually forming a unique style characterized by broad artistic expression and vigorous, moist brushwork.Currently, he serves as Council Member of the China National Painters Association, Council Member of the Chinese Painters Association, Council Member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, Council Member of the Chinese Artists Association, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Art, Member of the China Artists Association, Member of the Hong Kong Artists Association, Specially Appointed Painter of the Painting Academy of the Cultural and Historical Research Office of the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government, Contracted Painter of the Hunan Oriental Celebrities Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Standing Council Member of the Guangdong Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Association, and Contracted Painter of the Beijing Imperial City Calligraphy and Painting Academy.He formerly served as President of the China Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Publishing House and holds the title of National First-Class Artist. Published works include “Jiao Pengjian Painting Collection,” “Chinese Painter Jiao Pengjian,” “Jiao Pengjian Landscape and Bird-and-Flower Painting Collection,” and “Jiao Pengjian and Students’ Calligraphy and Painting Collection.” Authorized publications also appear in the China Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Archives and China International Stamp Albums.Currently residing in Guangzhou, he works as an art teacher and simultaneously offers live and recorded Chinese painting courses on online platforms such as CCTalk and Douyin.
