Personal Profile
Kang Zhenye, male, born in 1955 in Zhangqiu, Shandong. Influenced by his father, he developed a passion for calligraphy and painting during his youth. Over the past 50-plus years, alongside his studies and professional work, he has diligently practiced calligraphy and painting, mastering the five major script styles: regular, running, cursive, clerical, and seal scripts. He has consistently studied and copied the "Jieziyuan Painting Manual," particularly excelling in Yan-style regular script and running-cursive calligraphy. He studied under the renowned calligrapher and painter Mr. Zhu Xueda, and also received guidance from celebrated masters Jiang Weisong and Wei Qihou, achieving notable accomplishments. He actively participates in public welfare initiatives and enthusiastically teaches calligraphy to elementary school students and seniors, dedicated to inheriting and promoting Chinese culture.

In 2009, awarded the Gold Prize in the “Splendid China Cup” National Calligraphy and Painting Competition celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
In 2009, awarded the Gold Prize in the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition commemorating the 60th anniversary of Mao Zedong’s poem “Seven-Character Verse: The People’s Liberation Army Occupies Nanjing.”
In 2010, awarded the Gold Prize in the Orange Isle Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Competition.
In 2012, awarded the Gold Prize in the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Yan’an Forum on Literature and Art and Mao Zedong’s poetry.
In November 2013, participated in the “Into Boao” National Fine Calligraphy and Art Exhibition, honored with the title “Boao Asian Calligraphy and Painting Master,” and also received the Silver Prize at this fine art exhibition.
Numerous works have been collected by domestic and international tourists and calligraphy and painting enthusiasts.
