Personal Profile

Liu Chunling, female, born in March 1955, native of Shouguang, Shandong. Graduated in early years from Shandong Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering, majoring in Industrial and Civil Architecture. Worked in architectural design until retirement, yet always held a deep affection for traditional Chinese painting. After retirement, she fulfilled her dream by studying small freehand-style flower-and-bird painting under renowned Weifang artists Zhang Jingyue and Liu Liansheng. She also enjoys regular script and running script calligraphy, diligently practicing by copying classical models. Currently a member of the Oriental Painting and Calligraphy Academy, she continues to study and improve her skills.
