Personal Profile

Liu Yanqing, male, born in 1957, from Shandong Weifang, has loved calligraphy since childhood and has practiced diligently for many years without interruption. He received instruction from Mr. Yu Jianwei, a calligrapher in Weifang City, who gave him meticulous guidance and insightful advice, deepening his understanding of calligraphy and life. Later, he also received guidance from many renowned calligraphers, including Mr. Wang Yijun and Mr. Kuai Ning. He specializes in clerical script, regular script, and running script, and while absorbing the essence of ancient and modern calligraphy masters, he has gradually developed his own distinctive style. During his study of calligraphy, he has participated in numerous professional calligraphy training courses for further advancement. He currently serves as a member and Deputy Secretary-General of the Oriental Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a member of the Weifang Calligraphers and Painters Association, and a member of the Military Calligraphy and Painting Academy.
