      Fan Guangxin, born in 1956, is a native of Yanzhou City, Shandong Province. His courtesy name is Shanzhou, and he is also known by the pseudonyms Tingshi and Master of Tingshi Cottage. He studied oil painting at Qufu Normal University under the tutelage of Mr. Mao Daizong, Mr. Zhang Yang, and Mr. Liu Lei.       He is a member of the China Artists Association, a director of the China Modern Calligraphers and Painters Association, Vice Chairman of the Jining Calligraphy and Painting Association, Deputy Dean of the Yanzhou Academy of Chinese Painting, and Dean of Hongzhi Academy.       He received early artistic education from his family, studying calligraphy from the Jin and Tang dynasties and painting from the Song and Yuan dynasties. In the early 1990s, he began exploring Neo-Classicism in Chinese landscape painting. Over two decades, he traveled extensively across China’s famous mountains and rivers, seeking the origins of artistic traditions and conducting extensive artistic practice. He has developed a unique painting language and garnered attention at national and provincial art exhibitions.
