 Personal Profile
 Leng Xilin, styled Guxuan Hermit, is a native of Pingdu City, Qingdao. Since childhood, he has been fond of calligraphy and painting, and holds a special passion for masterpieces of calligraphy and painting, ancient coins of various dynasties, ancient ceramics, jade and jadeite, rosewood furniture, ancient book rubbings, rare stones, and bonsai. He has conducted considerable research in these fields and excels in seal carving. His collected rare stones, antiques, and artworks have been acquired by multiple museums; his seal carving works are collected in Beijing and Tianjin. He is currently studying under Zhang Cheng, a national first-class artist, specializing in landscape painting with a particular focus on snowscapes. His works have been published in numerous media outlets and have been exhibited at events including the China Folk Art Expo, Weifang Kite Festival, exhibitions organized by the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Calligraphy and Painting Association, and exhibitions in Qingdao. In recent years, Leng Xilin has devoted himself to traditional Chinese painting, becoming deeply absorbed in landscape and snowscape painting. He continuously seeks instruction from masters and practices daily, rapidly improving his skills. His work received acclaim at the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition held in Shijiazhuang, and his piece “Snowy Village After Snowfall” was collected.
He is currently a member of the Jimo Branch of the Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Academy, the Pingdu Calligraphy and Painting Alliance, the Pingdu Literary and Art Association, the Qingdao Folk Calligraphy and Painting Association, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Calligraphy and Painting Alliance, the Qingdao Peony Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Institute, and the Shandong Calligraphy and Painting Association.
