Personal Profile
      Xia Fuzhang, pen name Jinmen Huashi, studio name Daya Hall. Born in 1954, originally from Ningjin, Shandong. In his early years, he studied at the Qilu Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, specializing in landscape painting, and was taught by Mr. Zhang Yanqing, a distinguished disciple of Xu Beihong and Fu Baoshi. His work "Reading in the Deep Mountains" won the Landscape Excellence Award and was exhibited at the Li Kuchan Memorial Hall in Jinan. He has been featured with special articles and artworks multiple times in the Tianjin Daily. His works have participated in major exhibitions at the Tianjin Art Museum and Hebei Provincial Art Museum. Invited by the American art community, he held exhibitions in San Francisco and Milpitas (Silicon Valley). Hebei Television produced a special documentary introducing him, and Shandong TV’s national digital channel “Collection World” also produced a special feature. Currently, he is a member of the Tianjin Association for the Promotion of Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports Development, Guest Professor at Taipei Palace Museum Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Member of Tianjin Artists Association, Member of Tianjin CPPCC Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, Senior Painter at Hebei Press Group Northern Painting Academy, and Director of Hebei News Calligraphy and Painting Association.
