Wang Xuejun, styled Banruo, also known as Qingzhai, Master of Yanxiang, etc. Born in November 1974. Native of Weifang, Shandong. Has loved painting and calligraphy since childhood, fond of studying the works of masters Zhang Xu, Huaisu, and Wang Duo. Enjoys painting bamboo and orchids, following the style of Zheng Banqiao, the foremost of the Eight Eccentrics, learning from the ancients without being bound by them, entering and then transcending tradition. His bamboo paintings are clear, upright, and gracefully elegant. Also deeply immersed in collecting ancient paintings and calligraphy, widely associating with friends in cultural and museum circles, gradually broadening his horizons. Currently a member of the Weifang Calligraphers and Painters Association, and a member of the Shandong Cultural Relics and Museums Society, etc.
