Xu Yan

 
Xu Yan, female, Han ethnicity, born in 1968 in Shandong Linyi,a renowned painter and calligrapher of Qilu region.
She has studied traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy since childhood, under the tutelage of the renowned landscape painter Mr. Liang Yong. Her works have been selected for numerous large-scale exhibitions both domestically and internationally, winning awards and gaining popularity among collectors.

Currently holds the following positions:
Shandong Provincial Artists Association member
Shandong Provincial Calligraphers Association member
Artist at Shandong Yonghe Academy of Painting and Calligraphy
Specially appointed painter at Shandong Guoyun Painting and Calligraphy Academy

September 2015, joined the Shandong Calligraphers Association;
October 2019, joined the Shandong Artists Association;
April 2017, work "Xiao Lou Chui Che Yu Sheng Han" won the Excellence Award at the 4th Humanities and Arts Competition of Shandong Social Sciences Federation;
September 2017, work "Poetic Jiangnan" won the Gold Award at the 2nd Chinese Painting Exhibition of Linyi City;
March 2018, work "Yan Yun Gong Yang" was shortlisted for the 2018 Colorful China Female Artists Exhibition;
July 2019, work "Mengshan Renjia" was exhibited at the 5th Humanities and Arts Competition of Shandong Social Sciences Federation and won an award.
