Li Junhong, from Changle, Weifang, Shandong, currently resides in Jinan. She studied painting and calligraphy under renowned artists such as Zhang Shuyi, Chen He, Zhao Dexun and others. Born into a rural teacher’s family, the mountains and rivers, grasses and trees of her hometown remain indelibly etched in her heart. She expresses her love for her homeland and childhood dreams through brushstrokes, bringing them vividly to life on paper—drawing inspiration from everyday life and envisioning a beautiful future, all of which serve as the wellspring of her artistic creation.
She specializes in traditional Chinese peony paintings and also excels in landscape painting. Her works embody both form and spirit, appealing to both refined and popular tastes, and have been collected by multiple academies and artists.
