Personal Profile
Jiao Guangdai, native of Pingyin County, Shandong, is an inheritor of China’s national intangible cultural heritage and has been awarded the Certificate of Inheritor of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting by the China Calligraphers Association and the China Artists Association.
Currently, he is a member of the China Popular Literature and Art Research Association and the Beijing Shen Peng Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, a visiting professor at the Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Institute of Peking University, and an executive director of the Beijing Lindu Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute. He has also been appointed honorary president by ten calligraphy and painting research institutes, including the Beijing Shengtang Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, Junhun Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, Beijing Xiyang Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, Guoyun Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, and the China Confucius Culture and Art Exchange Center. Additionally, he serves as a senior calligraphy and painting researcher at the Beijing Yanhuang Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, Beijing Moyuan Traditional Art Association, and Moran Fenghua Culture Media.
The China Popular Literature and Art Research Association has conferred upon him the title of “Chinese Art Master.”
His works have received high praise and prefaces from renowned professors and senior figures in the calligraphy and painting field, including Shen Peng, Ouyang Zhongshi, Jin Shangyi, Su Shishu, and Wu Dongmin. His works have been invited for inclusion in the Series of China's Intangible Cultural Heritage《Chinese Calligraphy and Painting》, and in the modern volume of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting textbook series used by Confucius Institutes worldwide. He has also been repeatedly invited to be included in joint collections with professors such as Shen Peng, Liu Dawei, Li Keran, Jin Shangyi, Su Shishu, Feng Yuan, and Fan Di’an, receiving widespread acclaim from society and the calligraphy and painting community.
