Zhao Baozhong

Zhao Baozhong, from Jinan, Shandong Province, was born in January 1964. He has been fond of calligraphy since childhood and started by studying Ouyang Xun's style. In 1985, he studied at the Maolin Calligraphy College in Tianjin, where he was influenced by the master Wu Yuruo to pursue the calligraphic style of the Jin dynasty. In 2007, he became the personal disciple of the renowned calligrapher Wang Zhongwu. His calligraphy excels in seal script, clerical script, cursive script, and running script, with profound skills and grandeur. His works have participated in the first Shandong Mass Art Festival and the International Calligraphy Masters' Invitational Exhibition. He is currently a member of the Shandong Provincial Calligraphers Association and an art consultant for Hongteng Huapei Calligraphy and Painting Academy.
