Personal Profile

Liu Yuefen, female, born in January 1958, also known as Yigengzhai Master, is a National First-Class Artist.

Currently serving as a member of the National Celebrity Calligraphy and Painting Art Association, a member of the Shandong Provincial Artists Association, a council member of the Shandong Provincial Calligraphy and Painting Society, and Vice President of Qibao Society of Calligraphy and Painting. She is also a professor at both Shandong Province and Jinan City Senior Universities, having engaged in professional fine art creation and education for several decades.

Since childhood, she has been deeply influenced by her family’s scholarly traditions and developed a strong passion for calligraphy and painting. In her early years, she received meticulous guidance from Professor Luo Ming of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the renowned Chinese painter Mr. Hei Bolong. She graduated from Jinan Arts and Crafts School, later furthered her studies at advanced fine arts institutions, and apprenticed under the celebrated Chinese calligraphers and painters Mr. Yang Wenren and Mr. Yu Yuanchun. Her artistic creations have developed a distinctive personal style and unique artistic charm.
Her works have been exhibited and awarded multiple times at national, provincial, and municipal levels, and are collected by numerous domestic institutions and individuals both at home and abroad.
