Wang Chunyan, styled Qingchen, is a native of Zhucheng City, Shandong Province. She graduated from the Art Department of Shandong Normal University in 1993, and has studied under masters such as Han Wei, Zhang Wang, Ding Ningyuan, Song Fengguang, Zhu Gang, Liang Baigeng, and Zhao Chunqiu.
She is currently a specially appointed painter at the Chinese Ice and Snow Art Research Institute, a member of the Weifang Municipal Artists Association of Shandong Province, and a member of the Shandong Female Calligraphers and Painters Association.
Many of her works have been collected by institutions and individuals both domestically and internationally.
