Personal Profile

Wang Junbo (art name: Zixiu), female, Han ethnicity, native of Zibo City, Shandong Province, currently residing in Beijing.
Graduated from the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. Attended the Advanced Calligraphy Research Class at Renmin University of China, and later studied bird-and-flower painting under contemporary freehand-style masters Zhang Lichen and Wu Yueshi. Specializes in traditional Chinese painting following the styles of Wu Changshuo and Qi Baishi. Practices both calligraphy and painting, with a focus on large cursive script in calligraphy.
Currently serves as Vice Dean of Yidan Culture Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Professor of Calligraphy and Painting at North China University of Technology, and National First-Class Artist.
