Personal Profile

 Zhang Wei, male, born in 1971, resident of Juxian Studio at Mount Tai, native of Tai’an City, Shandong Province, holds a college diploma and is a member of the Communist Party of China. Passionate about calligraphy and painting since childhood, he graduated from the Correspondence University of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting. He specializes in freehand-style paintings of flowers, birds, fish, and insects. Through years of dedication, extensive exchanges with teachers and peers, and guidance from the renowned Chinese painting master Mr. Xing Pei, his artistic skills have significantly improved. He strives for innovation and expression of contemporary spirit, gradually forming his own distinctive painting style. He actively participates in public welfare cultural activities and has won awards in calligraphy and painting competitions organized by provincial, municipal, district, and transportation system authorities. His works are widely appreciated and collected by the public. Currently, he is a member of the China Modern Calligraphers and Painters Association, a member of the China Education Television “Ink and Wash” Calligraphers and Painters Association, Vice President of the China Grassroots Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a member of the Tai’an Municipal Artists Association, Vice President of the Tai’an Tiandong Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and Vice President of the Mount Tai Yunhai Calligraphy and Painting Academy.
