Hu Yueying (pen name: Hu Yingzi), female, born in 1966, native of Shandong Jinan.
Passionate about painting and calligraphy since childhood, she is a member of the Chinese Peasants' and Workers' Democratic Party, Vice President of China Taishan Calligraphy and Painting Academy, First-Class Painter of China Academy of Painting, member of Shandong Provincial Artists Association, and Council Member of Shandong Women’s Calligraphy and Painting Academy. She graduated from the Advanced Research Class of Shandong University of Art and Design, and further studied at the Rongbaozhai Advanced Research Class of Tsinghua University, receiving direct instruction from Master Shi Yunxiang and guidance from Master Zhang Dengtang. In September 2017, she won the Excellence Award at the Sotheby's World Art Competition; in March 2018, she received the Second Prize at the National Female Artists Exhibition; in 2019, she was awarded the China Outstanding Artist Award. Her works have won numerous awards and have been published on covers of youth literary journals, youth magazines, and major newspapers. Her artworks are widely loved and collected by friends both domestically and internationally, especially favored and collected by collectors from Malaysia, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Australia, and other countries.
