Personal Profile
Li Dong, born in September 1968, graduated successively from Shandong University of Arts, the Fine Arts Creation Institute of the Chinese National Academy of Arts, and the School of Chinese Painting at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is currently a member of the China Artists Association, a member of the Chinese Poetry Society, and Vice Chairman of the Qingzhou Artists Association in Shandong. His works have been selected twelve times for exhibitions organized by the China Artists Association, winning awards on multiple occasions. He has held solo and group exhibitions in Beijing, Shenzhen, Shandong, and Japan. His works are collected by numerous art museums, museums, and institutions both domestically and internationally.    Major Exhibitions and Awards: In April 2019, participated in the China Artists Association’s New Artistic Groups Promotion Exhibition, with nine works exhibited at the Prince Gong’s Mansion in Beijing. In October 2017, the work "Songs of Joy in Miao Village" was selected for the China Artists Association’s Jing Shang Dan Qing · National Chinese Painting Exhibition. In August 2017, the work "Basha · Lusheng Gathering" was selected for the China Artists Association’s Hanmo Qingzhou · 2017 National Chinese Painting Exhibition. In July 2017, the work "Military-Civilian Drum Dance · United as One" was selected for the China Artists Association’s Chinese (Nanchang) Military Art Exhibition (Award Winner). In May 2017, the work "Ansai Drum Dance" was selected for the China Artists Association’s Spirit of Beihong · 2nd National Chinese Painting Exhibition. In August 2016, the work "Lusheng Dance" was selected for the China Artists Association’s Hanmo Qingzhou · 2016 National Chinese Painting Exhibition (Award Winner). In September 2013, the work "Let Youth Bloom in Brilliance" was selected for the China Artists Association’s Mo Yun Lingnan · National Chinese Painting Exhibition. In December 2012, the work "March of Spring" was selected for the China Artists Association’s National Chinese Painting Exhibition. In December 2011, traveled to Japan for cultural exchange and held an exhibition of works. In May 2011, the work "Series of Miao Women" participated in the Oriental Ink · 3rd Contemporary Chinese Artists Invitational Exhibition. In 2011, the work "Auspicious Clouds" was selected for the China Artists Association’s 3rd Qi Baishi International Culture and Art Festival Chinese Painting Exhibition (Xiangtan, China). In 2011, the work "Auspicious Spring Scene" was selected for the China Artists Association’s National Fine Arts Exhibition. In 2010, the work "Auspiciousness" was selected for the China Artists Association’s Ethnic (Hundred Flowers Award). In 2009, the work "Spring Light" was selected for the China Artists Association’s Advocating Green Life · Jointly Building Ecological Civilization National Fine Arts Exhibition.
