Personal Profile

Li Bin, courtesy name Zhongfu, pseudonym Jingping Zhai Master, also known as Jiaodong Hermit, was born in September 1962 in Laixi City, Qingdao, Shandong Province. He is a member of the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, a senior calligraphy instructor of the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, a member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, a member of the Shandong Hard Pen Calligraphers Association, and the Dean of Qingdao Laoshan Jinshilai Calligraphy and Painting Academy. He served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the textbook "Rapid Mastery of Penmanship for Primary and Secondary School Students." In his early career in traditional commerce, he served as CEO of a company with outstanding performance and was regarded as a leading figure in certain fields. Since establishing the Qingdao Jinshilai Calligraphy and Painting Academy in 2007, he has vigorously promoted calligraphy and painting education and training for primary, secondary, and university students, based on forward-thinking, scientific, and pragmatic teaching concepts, earning widespread social recognition and high praise! In 2018, he participated in the "Love My China" Cross-Strait and Three Regions Calligraphy and Painting Art Summit Forum held in Hong Kong, where his work won the First Prize. In 2020, his work received a Special Award in the First National Online Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition.
