Personal Profile

Yu Kesheng, pen name Qingfeng, is from Qingdao City, Shandong Province, and graduated from the Correspondence University of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy. He is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, a member of the Shishushe Society in Changyi City, Shandong Province, a specially invited painter of the Chinese Folk Painting and Calligraphy Research Association, a member of the Shandong Painting and Calligraphy Society, and a member of the Pingdu Artists Association in Qingdao. He is especially skilled in painting bamboo, taking Zheng Banqiao’s freehand bamboo style as his model, carefully studying and deeply researching it. During his studies, he visited modern ink-bamboo masters Du Zhenying and received guidance from teacher Zhang Dalin. His works have been published multiple times in newspapers and periodicals both within and outside the province, and have participated in various exhibitions and won awards!
