Yang Yuanxian, male, born in October 1957, native of Heze, Shandong, China; member of the China Artists Association and the Shandong Calligraphers Association. He has practiced painting and calligraphy since childhood, specializing in meticulous-style painting, landscape painting, and especially meticulous-style figure painting. 1981–1983: Studied export traditional Chinese painting at Juye Art Factory. 1984–1986: Studied Western painting at Qufu Normal University. 2005–2008: Studied traditional Chinese painting and meticulous-style painting at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Since founding his own art school in 1988, Teacher Yang Yuanxian has cultivated three major batches of students admitted to art academies. In 1988, his students admitted to universities included Ge Qingshan (Heze Teachers College), Li Huaipeng (Shandong Normal University), Li Chuang (Shandong University of Art and Design), Yang Jie (Central Academy of Fine Arts), etc. His students who later became members of the China Artists Association include Li Lianqi, Zhao Changyu, Kong Qingchen, Lü Guoliang, Zhang Xueyun, etc. His works have been exhibited multiple times in exhibitions organized by the China Artists Association and have won numerous awards. In 1985, his painting "Shepherd" won the first prize at the Jinan Art Exhibition.
