Hao Xuechen, courtesy name Zhongyi, is originally from Guan County, Shandong, currently residing in Jinan. He holds a bachelor’s degree, is a member of the Communist Party of China, and holds the professional title of Researcher. He is also a visiting professor at Shandong University. He has previously served as Director of the Maintenance Department of the Jiqing Expressway Administration Bureau, Deputy Director of the Weihai to Rushan Expressway Project Office of Shandong Hi-Speed Group, Deputy Director of the Delong-Yantai Railway Project Office of Shandong Hi-Speed Group, Deputy Chief Engineer of Shandong Railway Investment Co., Ltd., and Vice General Manager of Jin-Yu-Lu Railway Corridor Co., Ltd. Since childhood, he has been fond of calligraphy, persistently practicing copying during his university years. Influenced by several renowned calligrapher friends during his professional career, he has long been diligent in study and practice, continuously researching and copying masterpieces from various dynasties, never ceasing to write. He founded the Oriental Calligraphy and Painting Academy and serves as its president. Currently, he is a member of the Shandong Calligraphy and Painting Society, and serves as Director and Vice President of the Hongteng Huapei Calligraphy and Painting Academy under the Shandong Calligraphy and Painting Society. His calligraphy skillfully employs side-brush techniques to create momentum, combining central and side strokes, with vigorous and robust brushwork, rich ink tone, and profound artistic expression. His works are dignified, grand, substantial, elegant, naturally beautiful, and appreciated by both connoisseurs and the general public. Some entrepreneurs have specifically commissioned him to write plaques and signs for their enterprises. He is sincere, kind, upright, honest, humble, low-key, and indifferent to fame and fortune. He strongly advocates and dedicates himself to the concept of “bringing calligraphy art into thousands of households,” actively promoting traditional Chinese culture.
