Mr. Fang Rui, born in Jinan in 1967, has been fond of calligraphy and painting since childhood. For decades, he has been working tirelessly on his paintings, mainly focusing on birds and flowers, with a particular expertise in painting eagles. His works have won numerous awards in national and provincial city art competitions. He is currently the Executive Vice President of the Chinese Love Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute, the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of traditional Chinese painting skills, a senior artist from the Ministry of Culture, a national first-class artist, a member of the China Artists Association, a member of the Shandong Artists Association, the vice chairman of the Confucius Artists Association of China, the vice president of the Three Halls of Shandong, and the president of Yifang Painting Academy. His painting style is bold and grand, with powerful and vigorous brushwork. He has visited many famous painters such as Yin Yanxin, Li Chengzhi, Sun Mo Long, Zhang Baozhu, etc., and through heart and hand tracking, he has formed his own style. He has published "Fang Rui's Art Collection" and "Fang Rui's Chinese Painting Exhibition" multiple times. Thousands of calendars and desk calendars are released every year. He has been invited to Beijing several times to paint for the three armed forces of the navy, army, and air force of the Beijing military region, the Tiananmen National Flag Guard Corps, the Great Hall of the People, and the Shandong Armed Police Force. Mr. Fang Rui's snowscape paintings have made significant developments and innovations based on the techniques of ancient artists, making a major breakthrough in the style of Chinese landscape paintings depicting icy and snowy landscapes.
