Personal Profile

Liu Yongsheng, courtesy name Changqing, also known as Wendaoshiquan. Daoist name Yiqin. Born in Qingzhou in the 1970s, currently resides in northern Jinan. Mr. Wendaoshiquan’s artistic subjects are diverse. He excels in Western artistic languages such as photography, sketching, color, and quick drawing, as well as traditional Chinese ink painting techniques including meticulous and freehand styles of flowers-and-birds, landscapes, and figures. He is particularly skilled in sketch-based creation. Currently holds the positions of: Senior Teacher of Traditional Chinese Culture certified by China’s Ministry of Education, member of the Jinan Branch of China Artists Association, Vice Dean of the College of Chinese Traditional Culture Education at Shandong Liming College, specially appointed expert lecturer at the School of Fine Arts, Jinan University, Vice President of China Tianying Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and Director of Wanbang Center for Social Art Grading in Shandong Province.
