 Guo Shukui, male, Han nationality, originally from Dezhou, Shandong, born in 1963, holds a college diploma, has broad interests, is enthusiastic about public welfare, and is self-taught.
 In 1981, he served in the Guangzhou Air Force Unit 87434, participated in the logistical support and supply operations in the Ningming frontline war zone of Guangxi during the self-defense counterattack war, and held positions such as military supplies custodian, secretary, film projectionist, and statistician.
 His military career forged in him a strong, resolute, and courageous character, strict organizational discipline, a pragmatic work ethic, a serious attitude toward work, and a spirit of hard work, daring to strive, and innovation—qualities that have driven him to aim high on the path toward realizing his dreams.
 
       Outgoing and eloquent, Guo Shukui earned his first pot of gold in rural entrepreneurship through his excellent reputation and outstanding performance and eloquence. After being discharged from the military in 1985, he returned to farming in his hometown, beginning with helping farmers solve the difficulty of selling grain, gradually focusing his attention on serving grassroots agriculture and rural communities. With keen insight, he also taught himself practical techniques related to health preservation and wellness. After his discharge, Guo Shukui voluntarily joined the local volunteer corps. For decades, he has consistently and voluntarily assisted vulnerable groups and elderly people living alone. In interviews, Guo Shukui said that using his own abilities to contribute love to society is what brings him the greatest joy.
       While striving at the grassroots level, Guo Shukui was not content solely with agriculture; he also partnered with others to invest in the cultural and artistic industries. Once, during a meeting in Beijing, he had the chance to meet renowned Chinese ink and oil painter Mr. Li Fenghai by reputation. Recommended and introduced by Mr. Li Fenghai, he joined the China Volunteers Association.
       Currently, Guo Shukui mainly operates in Beijing, dealing in collections of calligraphy and paintings, jade, porcelain, jade culture, vintage liquor, antique tea, and ancient prescriptions, and has established his own company. In his spare time, he studies calligraphy and painting under Mr. Li Fenghai, also serving part-time as an art broker. When inspired, he never forgets to add a few brushstrokes himself, delighting others with his literary and artistic contributions.
       When speaking of his dreams for later life, Guo Shukui hopes that through self-study he can become a culturally literate and culturally aware person. He also hopes that within his lifetime he can become a calligrapher or writer, and someday write more about the joyful stories of his rural hometown.
