Personal Profile

Zhang Shimin, a contemporary calligrapher and martial arts Tai Chi enthusiast, retired from Zaozhuang Mining Group in Shandong Province, currently resides in Dongying City, Shandong, originally from Ciqiu Town, Wenshang County, Jining City, Shandong Province. He has practiced calligraphy for over thirty years, especially excelling in seal script, clerical script, and the creation and appreciation of poetry; his works have won numerous awards. Fifth Duanwei in Chinese martial arts, National Level One Coach, Level One Fitness Qigong Instructor, Level Two Referee, has participated multiple times in international, national, and provincial competitions, winning first prize on numerous occasions. Currently serves as Executive Secretary-General of the Calligraphy and Painting Academy of China Planning Committee, Director of Dongying Qigong Association, Secretary-General of Dongying District Martial Arts Association, and Standing Secretary-General of Dongying Elderly Sports Association, among other social positions.
