Han Yun (pen name: Yiming), styled Zuìyún, studio name Moxiangju, born in 1969, originally from Shandong Laizhou, graduated from Jilin University, formerly an overseas correspondent for a television station, currently a member of the Tianjin Calligraphers Association, member of the Tianjin Writers Association, member of the China Hard Pen Calligraphers Association, nationally recognized master educator in calligraphy and large-character calligraphy, member of the China International Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Association, certified calligraphy and painting evaluator by China’s Ministry of Education, Chairman of the Laizhou City Hard Pen Calligraphers Association in Shandong Province, Chairman of the Zhaoyuan City Hard Pen Calligraphers Association in Shandong Province, Deputy Director of the Yantai Management Center for the Ministry of Education’s Calligraphy and Painting Proficiency Examination, and founder of Moxiangju. His calligraphy works have won awards in multiple competitions in China, Japan, and South Korea; on New Year’s Day 2003, he was received by Kim Jong-il at the China-North Korea Enterprise Friendship Association, and his work “Sino-North Korean Friendship, Deeply Rooted and Firmly Established” was collected by the Kim Il-sung Historical Museum.
