Zhang Shixiang

Zhang Shixiang, from Weifang, Shandong, born in 1968, has been passionate about calligraphy since childhood. His brushwork is smooth and rounded, with neat and exquisite composition, rich in artistic beauty. He has won multiple awards, including the Third Prize in the 5th China National Painting and Calligraphy Competition in 2016 and the Second Prize in the China Weifang Martial Arts Culture Festival in 2018. Two of his works have been permanently collected by the Beijing Huaxia Lanting Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Beijing, and special certificates of collection were awarded.   Currently, he serves as a council member of the China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, academician and calligrapher of the Beijing Huaxia Lanting Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Beijing, member of the Shandong Oriental Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Shandong, and president of the Calligraphy and Painting Exchange Association.
