Fu Qingling, styled Zimo, known as Master of Jingya Xuan, was born in May 1960 in Qihe, Shandong.
He has loved calligraphy and painting since childhood. During his six years of military service, he participated in numerous calligraphy and painting competitions, winning the third prize in the Fifth Xizhi Cup National Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Invitational Competition, with his works included in the anthology of poetry, calligraphy and painting. In 2004, his four-foot calligraphy work "Bright moon shines among pines; clear spring flows over stones" was collected by a Malaysian tourist. His calligraphy commemorating the 110th anniversary of Deng Xiaoping's birth won a creation award and was included in the collection of fine works. He received the first prize in the competition commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan. In 2017, he was honored as "Artist Most Influential in Moving China through Art" and other titles. Currently, he is a member of the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, a member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, a member of the Shandong Folk Artists Association, a member of the Qihe Calligraphers Association, a director of the First Calligraphy and Painting World Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Academy in Beijing, a national gift artist, a member of the Jinan General Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Vice President of Qilu Moxiangge and Shanche Zhibaozhai Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and a calligrapher.
