Yu Qin, male, Han ethnicity, studio name "Moyuan", was born in 1991 in Gaotang, hometown of Ku Sheng and renowned for traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy, currently resides in Jinan.
Influenced by his family since childhood, he has been practicing painting and calligraphy continuously. He graduated from Qingdao University of Science and Technology in Shandong, specializing in Chinese landscape painting. Currently, he is a member of the China Artists Association, researcher and painter at Shandong Academy of Arts, member of Shandong Young Chinese Painters Association, council member of Shandong Landscape Painting Research Association, member of Liaocheng Young Artists Association, specially appointed painter at Shandong Painting Academy, academician at Quancheng Chinese Painting Academy, dean of Moyuan Painting Academy, and director of Talang Media Arts. He is also recognized as one of the top-tier artistic talents in the tenth batch of Liaocheng City.
His works have been exhibited in numerous national, provincial, and municipal major art exhibitions, and many have been published in professional national periodicals and magazines such as “Art”, “Art Observation”, “Art Panorama”, “Art Newspaper”, and “Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Newspaper”.
