Lu Guanghua

Personal Profile

Lu Guanghua, a native of Jinan, Shandong, specializes in landscapes and flowers-and-birds. He graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and furthered his studies at the Advanced Research Class of Chinese Painting at Tsinghua University. In 2015, he successfully held a personal art exhibition. He has traveled multiple times to places such as the Taihang Mountains, Jiuhua Mountains, Huangshan Mountains, and Mount Tai to study the essence and spirit of natural scenery, gradually developing a powerful and majestic style characteristic of the Northern School of landscape painting. He has won numerous national awards; his work "Majestic Taihang" received a national gold prize. Currently, he serves as院长 of the Shandong Color Ink Art Research Institute and Art Consultant at the China Charity Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute.
