Zhang Jingyu, born in Shandong Qufu, has loved calligraphy and painting since childhood, coming from a scholarly family. In 2022, his works were included in "Hundred Years, Hundred Masters" and he was awarded the honorary title of "Virtuous and Artistic Master of Calligraphy and Painting." He has furthered his studies at the China Academy of Art in the Advanced Research Class for Landscape Painting, where he received direct instruction in brushwork and ink techniques from masters of the Shanghai School, including Wu Changshuo and Pan Tianshou. He has since developed his own distinctive painting style, with a market rate of 10,000 yuan per square foot, making him one of the most promising contemporary calligraphy and painting artists for collectors today. Zhang Jingyu's works have seen their market value rise year after year, sparking a new wave of collecting interest. Artistic excellence determines artistic value; the "Zhang Jingyu phenomenon" has become an effect in the art world, and as a fresh mark in the history of Chinese painting, it will undoubtedly lead the era.
